Driven by a lifelong love of design—and an equal affection for Lake Tahoe—Interior Designer Justin Moore relocated to South Lake Tahoe, California in 2020 with his husband, Steve, and their two dogs, Buffy and Chip. After pivoting from a career in the hotel industry to pursue residential interiors, Justin poured his creative energy into crafting and chronicling their first Tahoe home, where he turned passion into practice.

Justin went on to gain professional experience at the award-winning design firm Tahoe Modern, where he was quickly promoted to Lead Interior Designer. He led the design of several multi-million dollar residential projects and played a key role in helping the firm earn its first residential and commercial design awards.

After two rewarding years with the company, Justin launched his own studio—Justin Moore Interiors. His signature style, “warm modern,” blends modern, contemporary, and traditional elements to create curated, personal spaces. It often intersects with mountain modern, mid-century modern, organic modern, and more. Regardless of style or scope—from new builds to large-scale remodels or simple refreshes—Justin brings a thoughtful, tailored approach to each project, capturing your vision and reflecting your unique taste with clarity and style.
